A five-module, self-paced recovery course for the weeks and months after discovery — stabilizing the crisis, understanding how it happened, learning to talk again, rebuilding trust on evidence, and deciding what comes next on purpose rather than in panic.
Discovery collapses time. Everything feels like it has to be decided tonight — whether to stay, what to tell people, whether anything before this was real. Almost none of it does.
This course is built to slow that down. It doesn't assume you'll stay together and it doesn't assume you'll separate. It assumes that whichever you choose, you'd rather choose it clearly than be swept into it.
Contain the crisis, set boundaries that hold, and learn what flooding is doing to both of you.
Build an accountable explanation — responsibility first, context second, blame never transferred.
A structure for hard conversations: the container, the questions worth asking, and repair after escalation.
Replace reassurance with evidence, and give transparency an exit rather than a permanent role.
Assess readiness, separate forgiveness from reconciliation, and put the next ninety days in writing.
Where there is violence, coercion or controlling behavior, stalking, threats, or thoughts of suicide, this course is not the right first step. In the U.S.: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988); National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. These resources are here whether or not you enter your email.
Enter your email and the course opens in this window. Nothing you write inside it is ever sent anywhere — your answers stay in your own browser.
You've already started — pick up where you left off.
Your address goes to my mailing list and nowhere else. It is not a clinical record, it does not create a counseling relationship, and it will never be sold or shared. The course itself stores your written answers only in this browser, on this device.
